Who is Parkway Christian Center?

PCC is a diverse, spirit-filled church that is committed to raising up and training families to live as disciples of Jesus Christ by working and serving our community. We are not a place where people simply show up to get their “Sunday morning fix.”

Where is PCC located?

The Chesapeake Campus is located at 601 Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320.

What time are your services?

We have one Sunday service, which begins at 10:30 AM. Most services last approximately one hour and twenty minutes. Additionally, throughout the year we offer Bible studies sponsored by Connection Groups.

What should I wear?

There is no need to dress up or wear something special. Some families at PCC wear their “Sunday best” while others dress in casual and comfortable clothes. Simply put—we want you to come as you are!

Do I need to bring anything?

Our pastors frequently use a projection screen to share the sermon outline and scriptures. Note taking is encouraged and electronic devices are welcome as free Wi-Fi is available throughout the church. If you hear something during the sermon that you would like to share on Twitter or Facebook then please feel free to do so!

Where do I go when I get there?

PCC greeters are located at each entrance of the building! They are more than happy to welcome you and direct you and your family to where you should go.

Where do my children go?

We provide Children’s Church for children of all ages during the both of our Sunday morning services! Infants and toddlers can be signed in and dropped off in the nursery, which is located in the main church building. Pre-school-aged children can be signed in and dropped off in room 112 which is located on the first level of the main church building. Children in elementary school can be dropped off in room 200, which is on the second level of our main church building.

Where do my teens go?

PCC offers a special service each Wednesday night from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM for middle school and high school students alike. Great effort goes into making sure that your teens have a wonderful experience while having an opportunity to encounter God that allows them to be transformed, equipped and empowered. During the Sunday morning service, the youth are encouraged to sit and worship together in the sanctuary at 10:00 PM.

How are visitors recognized?

As a first time guest we have V.I.P. parking just for you! All you have to do is look for the signs! You will be met by one of our volunteers who will help you and your family find their place. As our guests we have a special gift just for you waiting at our Welcome & Information Center, which is centrally located in our foyer. You will NOT be asked to stand or do anything special because we want you to make yourself at home. After each service is over Pastor Robbie or one of our campus pastors are always available for a brief introduction as your visit makes our day at PCC.
